Not only does this place have delicious Filipino food, but a nice, comfortable and hip atmosphere that can cater to the younger crowd.
A nice patio setup greets you as you walk up to this place. Inside, pillows add to the cozy atmosphere complete with bright yellow color painted walls which makes a very inviting and festive vibe. Also, the modern music makes you feel you're part of a younger crowd.
A chalk board showcasing compliments from, what I assume, other guests gives the place a nice fun touch!
Now, the food is always delicious. The chicken adobo is tender and tasty, but not overwhelmingly salty. Also surprisingly, there's no bones making the entree a pleasure to chew on. Impressive!
The panceit is also delicious and filling which complements the chicken adobo well with small pieces of carrots among the noodles.
Overall, with a modern and cozy atmosphere with delicious Filipino food, a guest can definitely enjoy their meal in a fun and festive environment! You can feel young again while eating classic Filipino food at the May Mar in Chesapeake.
