Italian Food Set Inside A Trendy Former Fire Station!

When it comes to Italian food, you would think of a typical restaurant set inside a shopping center, but have you thought about enjoying your pasta inside of a former fire station? The kitchen was definitely bringing the heat at this place.

Inside its brick exterior, guests, and food lovers alike, will be stationed inside a garage, but you won't find a firetruck here. Instead, you will be welcomed by stylish modern tables, booths, and chairs set inside an industrialized theme atmosphere. What a great recommendation from my friends!

The bread, freshly made in house, was light and fluffy with a hint of sweetness and definitely recommended with butter.

A friend let me sample the Caprese salad. With a dash of Balsamic reduction and lemon olive oil, the fresh mozzarella was a great contrast to the fresh tomato slice giving a certain cheesy yet citrusy like taste.

The very nice waitress recommended me a dish I haven't tried before, but it was also quite familiar. You'll know what I'm talking about when I say the name. White Lasagna.

It's Lasagna with home made cream white sauce with mushroom, chicken and spinach stuffed underneath the pasta.

The chicken was tender which complemented the chewiness of the mushrooms and the spinach added some texture making it even more filling.

The spaghetti with meat sauce was beyond basic affair. The homemade tomato sauce made it taste fresh complementing the flavor of the meat. The noodles were not too soft and not too hard but had the right thickness. Like the Caprese salad, the sauce had that citrusy taste giving that entrée some zest.

Another friend let me try the cannoli dessert and that was incredible! Soft shell was easy breakable like a cookie combining itself with the sweet cream. The chocolate chips made it even tastier. It was a nice cool dish, but the chocolate mocha was the warmer opposite with soothing sweet cream and a chocolate muffin underneath it all making you believe you haven't had chocolate before. It's also worth mentioning that all desserts were freshly made in house.

And, why not a nice cherry flavored Shirley Temple to wash it all down?

Overall, when it comes to delicious entrées and desserts, this place is so good that it's on fire and can extinguish the other competition!
