Inu Inu Ramen
4224 Virginia Beach Blvd Suite 101, Virginia Beach, VA 23452
I was driving down Virginia Beach Boulevard. Hungry! Wanting something different! This place caught my eye! Inu Inu Ramen!
The atmosphere was very j-pop, but grounded with traditional esthetics. It had a certain theme park quality to it which was not bad! Fun, actually!
According to the menu, it has
"Noodles in Soy sauce base with Chicken bone broth. Topped with roast pork, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, kikurage mushroom, corn, chopped scallions, seaweed, fishcake, and seasoned boiled eggs."
Nothing bland about it, the broth had a nice salty flavor but not overbearing. Subtle. The noodles were well flavored with it. The pork chop was well seasoned and quite tender and tasty like you could taste the roast from it. The broth complemented it well.
The hard boiled egg gave it certain comforting texture to the soup and the bean sprouts added a nice crunch. The seaweed gave it a nice ocean like flavor.
