If you happen to be in Richmond and you're looking for real Mexican food without breaking the bank, then you should try Chicken Fiesta!
Located off of Midlothian Tpke, you can smell the welcoming grilled smoke at this Richmond location and, relatively, this is a small place, but it still maintains a warm and inviting festive atmosphere.
You can even see chicken being spun around in a spit. That's how you know the food is real!
My entree, the Chicken Parilla, consisted of lettuce, pinto beans, rice, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole and a very tasty marinated chicken breast fillet.
I was surprised how huge my chicken fillet was and my bites were greeted with this smokey savory taste. It was quite tender and delicious!
The pico de gallo added a certain "zestiness" to my meal utilizing the real cut tomatoes and the crunchy onions while being paired with the lettuce.
The pinto beans added a tasty texture to my rice complementing the sour cream and the guacamole.
Of course, to add more spice, try the yellow sauce and the green sauce for some added kick!
Overall, if you're looking for tasty chicken that's not bland, then this is the right restaurant to be in!
