Alohahola Hawaiian kitchen
Greenbrier Location
717 Eden Way N #610, Chesapeake, VA 23320
If you're looking for tender sweet barbeque, then get it from a little tropical paradise known as the Alohahola Hawaiian kitchen brought to you by Domoishi.
Located at Greenbrier in Chesapeake, you are welcomed to a brightly lit and colored atmosphere with hints of Hawaii and even decorations of a little blue alien that can stay on the wall as long as you won't let Disney know. It's all in good fun!
With that aside, I got their best seller according to the description known as the, "Signature Hawaii BBQ Mix."
I can taste the sweetness of the tender chicken that has been marinating in teriyaki glaze. It was not dry and quite juicy.
The beef short ribs have been grilled with that char taste which complements the rice well.
The caramelized beef has been grilled which has a very nice balance of sweetness and saltiness.
All the meats were savory with a nice hint of a fruity taste.
The macaroni was neatly sauced with creamy flavor.
The white rice blended everything together well.
Overall, one of the best Hawaiian barbeque places.
Oh, I was given the fried shrimp from a separate meal and it was crunchy and soft with, once again, some sweetness.
